Craig Locascio Bio


Craig’s 28 year passion for wine began with a part time job waiting tables while in college. By the age of 23 he was Maitre d’ and Sommelier at the renowned Restaurant Le Bistro in Cumberland, MD overseeing an award winning wine program. In 1987, Craig, his wife Sherée and daughter Jocelyn relocated to Hilton Head Island, SC. After a stint in Food & Beverage management at the Westin Resort he joined The Ben Arnold Beverage Company of South Carolina as a Wine Sales Representative.  

Craig moved up the ranks of regional and statewide sales management positions in Hilton Head and Charleston, finally landing in Columbia, home of Ben Arnold’s corporate headquarters, in 2004 as their Director of Training. 

In 2006 Ben Arnold’s corporate parent, The Charmer Sunbelt Group, recruited Craig to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of product knowledge education and training programs for their group of 16 wine and spirit distributors and 3000 member sales force around the country. 

Craig is accredited as a Certified Wine Educator and Certified Spirits Specialist by The Society of Wine Educators. As a member of The Society of Wine Educators, he serves on their Board of Examiners.  He is also accredited by L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux as a Certified Bordeaux Trade Educator.
