Bio
A Charleston, SC native
Joseph has spent the past three years working under Amity Vineyards
winemaker Darcy Pendergrass in Oregon’s Willamette Valley where he
worked on all aspects of wine making as well as vineyard management
also continuing his Sommelier training.
Prior to his time in
wine making Joseph worked as Beverage Director and Bar Manager at
then Ocean Grille on Hilton Head Is., SC where he began his training
as a Sommelier. In 2011 he stared writing a quarterly wine review on
the web site ‘theweeklycrush.com’ a wine reviewing web site started
by those who work in the production of wine. He tries to review
wines made on the east coast of the USA so to highlight the new
place in the US where quality wines are being made.
