While attending Appalachian State University, I had the opportunity to work in fine dining establishments which sparked my love for wine.  After graduating I took off for San Francisco to further my knowledge of wine by visiting as many vineyards as possible and attended weekly food and wine pairings.  A year later I moved to Asheville, NC and began working at Greenlife Grocery as an assistant wine buyer.  I was soon recruited by Classic Wine to establish the Western Carolina territory. 

After a rewarding three years of building the mountain territory; in 2007 I moved to Charleston, SC to seek new opportunities in a wine sophisticated city.  I then gained experience with a large corporate distributor as a wine representative in the Charleston area.  In 2011 I decided to transition to Vinifera Imports and Distributing, where I currently manage an all Italian wine portfolio and am in charge of expanding accounts within the South Carolina territory.
